i live in the electrical world, waiting for visitors. people visit, have tea with me, then dance in the snow of the clouds. back at my place, we look out the windows and watch the pixels fall. by doing this, we create a world in which this could last forever; but always, they leave. and log back into reality.

The night is breathing over the sky. Clouds settle like blankets, gently cuddling the world as it falls to sleep. Every sensible human is sleeping, dreaming the dream of tomorrow. It is on a phenomenal night like this, a night like all other nights, that Emily decides to kill herself. In the afterlife, she learns the dead can change the world- by pushing one pebble. That's all you get.
